This private cottage has a full living area with a queen sofa sleeper and a queen-size bed in the bedroom. There is a kitchen area with a full-size refrigerator and a bath with a walk in shower. Wildlife is abundant all around the 11 acre property. Talk about a great location! So if the city seems to be closing in on you and you need to get away, visit Twin Oaks and enjoy the good life, here in the Texas Hill Country.

  My wife and I get out and travel quite a bit with our fifth wheel. Periodically we will stay in a cabin or B&B. We travel to Fredericksburg yearly and hit every place we can. We stayed at this cabin for the last week, and it was one of the most enjoyable cabins we have stayed in years. The views are excellent, and the travel to town is typical. Give it about 20 min, and you’re on the main street. If you plan to Uber, Taxi, Lyft, or something similar, you may want to stay somewhere closer to town. We will arrange a return visit to this property soon.

  We wanted a place away from everyone and just to enjoy nature. This little house was our perfect place! Clean, newly renovated and fenced for our dog to enjoy being outside too. He cried when he saw his first deer, we think he thought it was the biggest rabbit he’d ever seen 🤭we enjoyed the wildflowers and other wildlife all around. Highly recommend this cute cabin!

  The cottage was fabulous. I had everything I needed. My dogs loved being able to come with me and see all sorts of new animals. When I had an initial issue with the internet not connecting, I contacted the host and it was resolved in minutes. I worked from the cottage for a couple of days and the internet was strong enough for video conferencing, even better it was strong enough so that I could sit outside and work, making co-workers jealous. the kitchen had what I needed to make breakfast. The bed is very comfortable. The cottage really is as pictured in the listing. The sunsets are beautiful too. It is a 20 minute drive into town.

  The house was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. Very clean and well kept, the view from the property was beautiful. The only downside was not having any basic seasoning to make breakfast we had bought a few groceries and didn’t think to purchase salt and pepper, we were surprised there wasn’t any since they had everything else we could need. That was the only downside, otherwise very peaceful!

  The wife and I enjoyed this vacation rental as much and maybe more then any we have experienced in the past we have traveled extensively through the United States. The cabin so very quaint and comfortable, the view beautiful, Wildlife abundant and the price very affordable. The staff is so accommodating we will return again and again. If I wanted to I could probably come up with something wrong but it would be so minor in comparison‘s to all the wonderful things that it really doesn’t matter.
