HR Cabin 1 - The Red Cabin (Dog Friendly)

A cute little getaway only 5 miles outside of town. Off the main highway, this cabin sits on 8 acres with access to a small creek on the property. This property is perfect for a simple yet beautiful getaway. You get the country feel yet you are only 5 minutes from downtown. During the day, enjoy a small creek at the end of the property to enjoy a day in the sun or enjoy a day fishing. At the end of the day sit out on the porch and view the stars at night while relaxing or enjoy a night by the fit pit! You are sure to enjoy the beautiful Hill County at HR Cabins.
Pet fee $35 per pet per day. Two pet maximum. All pets will need to be kenneled if left alone at cabin. When booking please state how many pets you will be bringing. Dogs must be leashed when walking around the property.

  Enjoyed our stay in this nice quiet cabin. The cabin sits on a large property with a trail that leads to a creek. The cabin is complete with a bedroom, bathroom/shower and kitchen area. There is a porch out front, which is the perfect spot for an evening glass of wine.

  Had a nice relaxing stay in this cabin, it's a great convenient location only a few minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, grocery store and the wineries, but far enough out that it's quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space at the property to walk your dog (a few areas had stickers so keep an eye out for that) and you can walk down to the creek at the back of the property. It's a simple small cabin but had all the amenities we needed and was it clean and comfortable. Next time we're in town we'll be booking here again.

  The cabin was very nice and in good order. We did have a problem with the air condition before we left. My husband turned it off when it cooled down and I couldn't get it to start again. But it was cool enough that it didn't make a difference. Also, I would have liked a longer curtain on the front door, so someone couldn't see in at night time.
