HR Cabin 5 - The Indian Cabin (dog friendly)

A cute little getaway only 5 miles outside of town. Off the main highway, this brand new cabin sits on 8 acres with access to a small creek on the property. This property is perfect for a simple yet beautiful getaway. You get the country feel yet you are only 5 minutes form down town. During the day, enjoy a small creek at the end of the property to enjoy a day in the sun or enjoy a day fishing. At the end of end of the day sit out on the porch and view the stars at night while relaxing or enjoy a night by the fit pit! You are sure to enjoy the beautiful Hill County at HR Cabins.
Pet fee is $35 per pet, per day. Two pet maximum. All pets will need to be kenneled if left alone at cabin. When booking please state how many pets you will be bringing. Dogs must be leashed when walking around the property.

We have a few extras for purchase upon booking.

  My wife and I stayed at the Indian Cabin for a long weekend. It was clean, roomy and had all the amenities we were looking for. The hosts were responsive and helpful too.
  The country road nearby does make some noise during the night but it isn't a major distraction. There are 4 cabins on the same lot, so privacy may be a concern for some but we didn't have any issues.

  The rental was just as described. Very cute and the owner and property management had everything we needed upon arrival. Wouldn’t book it for the creek access though. Very stagnant water and the walk down is full of stickers. But the property by the cabins is very maintained.

  The accommodations were very nice and comfortable. There are stickers so be careful with pups and kids. The highway and airport are close so be prepared for that extra noise but it really wasn't that big of a deal. All in all it was a great getaway.

  The cabin is located just outside Fredericksburg, far enough you feel outside the town and close enough you can be in town in 5mins, HEB is even closer. There are 5 cabins on site. The cabin was clean with a decent bed.

  We enjoyed our weekend stay at this cabin for a weekend. Very clean, easy access, short downhill trek to stream. Only complaint is road noise - there was a lot of noise coming from the road when we were trying to enjoy coffee on the porch. Easy access to Fredericksburg, but if you're looking for country quiet - this location may not be for you.

We grilled steaks, had a fire in the chiminea, and had a great gathering at the fire pit. Wood, lighters, tables and chairs were ready to go. Absolutely awesome weekend. We will be coming back.
