Peaceful Retreat

Peaceful Retreat is a two-bedroom stand-alone guesthouse that sits on 30 acres. A large home that has a great living room and nice kitchen for gatherings. Sitting on the front porch enjoy watching the squirrels run through the large oak trees. Located only 15 minutes from town and only ½ mile from the Hilltop Restaurant. Peaceful Retreat is a great place for families to gather or couples to enjoy.
This house is a 2 bedroom, 2 full-bath home that is immaculately clean, neat, and tidy. One of the full baths is upstairs and is shared by the two bedrooms. The other is downstairs and has a tub/shower combo. The rooms are large and spacious, the beds (both queens) are very comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well equipped. TV with DVD and CD movies provided.
There is NO Wifi at this property. Children under the age of 14 years are not allowed at this home.

  2 couples stayed here and we all absolutely loved it! The house is spacious, the kitchen is stocked, it was all so clean!
  We loved being able to see the stars at night. We had deer nearby and saw a fox traveling by.
  If you want to disconnect and savor, this is the place to do it!

  We had a great tie at Peaceful Retreat. The owners, Donald and Nancy, greeted us upon our arrival and answered any questions we had. The retro furniture took us back to days gone by. The home was immaculately clean. The only thing we would change is in the property description is states there is internet, which was not the case. Though initially disappointed, we quickly realized it was an opportunity to unplug for a few days. The first night we sat outside for hours just talking, watching the deer and other wildlife. things we would have missed if there was internet. The second night we played games well into the night. If the opportunity arises, we will stay there again.
